ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the EDIdEv Services and applies to all users, customers, API consumers, administrators, contractors, and affiliates accessing the Services.
Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access.
1. PERMITTED USE
The Services may only be used for lawful business purposes consistent with:
- applicable laws;
- contractual obligations;
- regulatory requirements;
- these policies and Terms of Service.
2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users shall not:
- violate applicable laws or regulations;
- upload malicious software;
- transmit ransomware, viruses, or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorized system access;
- bypass authentication or security controls;
- interfere with service availability;
- overload systems or networks;
- scrape or harvest data without authorization;
- reverse engineer the Services;
- probe vulnerabilities;
- impersonate others;
- submit fraudulent transactions;
- distribute unlawful or infringing content.
3. PROHIBITED CONTENT
Users shall not upload, transmit, generate, or distribute content that:
- violates intellectual property rights;
- violates privacy rights;
- contains malicious code;
- is unlawful;
- is fraudulent;
- contains unauthorized protected data;
- promotes criminal activity.
4. API USAGE
API consumers shall not:
- abuse rate limits;
- circumvent authentication;
- share API credentials improperly;
- automate attacks;
- generate excessive load;
- use APIs for unauthorized scraping or surveillance.
EDIdEv may throttle, suspend, or revoke API access at its discretion.
5. SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining credential confidentiality;
- protecting API keys;
- implementing appropriate internal controls;
- limiting unauthorized access to uploaded data.
Users must promptly report suspected security incidents.
6. CUSTOMER DATA RESPONSIBILITY
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they possess lawful authority to upload and process all submitted files and information.
EDIdEv does not independently verify the legality or authorization of uploaded content.
7. RESOURCE ABUSE
Users shall not use the Services in ways that:
- degrade platform performance;
- interfere with workers or job dispatching;
- consume disproportionate system resources;
- disrupt other customers.
EDIdEv may implement quotas, throttling, scheduling restrictions, or automated safeguards.
8. AUTOMATED PROCESSING RISKS
Users acknowledge that automated:
- translation;
- generation;
- validation;
- processing;
- transformation
may produce errors, omissions, or unexpected results.
Users are solely responsible for validating outputs before operational or production use.
9. ENFORCEMENT
EDIdEv may investigate suspected violations and may:
- suspend accounts;
- terminate access;
- remove content;
- block uploads;
- revoke API keys;
- preserve evidence;
- cooperate with law enforcement.
