ediAcknowledgment. OptionByAck

Sets or gets optional features available in the object.  This operation applies to a specific acknowledgment type.

Syntax:

• object.OptionByAck(<option Type>, <sAckID>) = <1 or 0>
• <1 or 0> = object.OptionByAck(<option Type>, <sAckID>)

Parameter:

• Option Type - The type of option to enable or disable.  The available option types are listed in the Acknowledgment Option ID Constants. 
• sAckID – Transaction Set/Message identifier of the acknowledgment where option will be applied.

Returns

Returns 1 or 0 for the option type requested.

Remarks

This method operates like Option but applies to the acknowledgment type specified by sAckID, which can be one of the following:

• 997 - Functional Acknowledgment for ASC/X12.
• 999 - Implementation Acknowledgment for ASC/X12.
• CONTRL - Functional Acknowledgment for UN/EDIFACT.
