ediInterchange. ElementTerminator

Sets or gets the element terminator used in the interchange.

Syntax:

<sElementTerminator> = object.ElementTerminator
object.ElementTerminator = <sElement Terminator>

Remarks:

The element terminator is a character or string that separates the values of data elements belonging to data segments in the Interchange. The element terminator is NOT used to separate component elements in a composite element, and also cannot be the same string or character as the composite terminator.
