ediScmDataElement.UserRequirement

Gets/Sets the requirement of the data element as defined by the user or trading partners.

Syntax:

• <sUserRequirement> = object.UserRequirement

• object.UserRequirement = <sUserRequirement>

Parameter

• Index – Index location of the sub element in an element.  The index number starts with one (1) and represents the position of the sub element in the composite element.

Returns

Currently the only acceptable values of the user requirement are as follows: 

• NOT RECOMMENDED
• NOT USED
• RECOMMENDED
• MUST USE
• DEPENDENT
• USED
