ediSecurityCertificate. GetRawPublicKey

Returns the string representation of the raw public key.

Syntax:

<sPublicKey> = object.GetRawPublicKey(<lEncodingFilter>)

Parameters:

lEncodingFilter – Encoding mechanism to translate the binary contents of the public key to a string. Supported encoding mechanisms are listed under Encoding Mechanism Type Constants.

Remarks:

The raw public key is the result of having decoded from the ASN X.509 format originally stored in the physical certificate. The raw data is equivalent to the raw data of the public key in the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) key container.
