ediSecurityKeyContainer. VerifyFile

Verifies a signed file.

Syntax:

• <lretval> = object.VerifyFile(<sSignedFileName>, <sSignatureFile>, <sSignAlgorithm>, <lKeyPairType>, <lSignatureFormatType>, <sVerifiedFileName>)

Parameters:

• sSignedFileName – Full path name of file to verify.
• sSignatureFile – Full path name of file containing the signature.
• sSignAlgorithm – Signature algorithm used to verify the signed file.
• lKeyPairType - The key pair of the key container to use.  The supported key pair types are listed in Key Pair Type ID.
• lSignatureFormatType – Signature format of signed file.  The supported signed file formats are listed in Signature Format Type Constants.
• sVerifiedFileName – Full path name of the target file resulting from the file verification.

Returns:

Returns 1 if the operation is successful; otherwise the operation returns zero.

Remarks:

The public key of the key pair is used to verify a file
