ediTransactionSet. ExportPackage

Exports the UN/EDIFACT Package that was included in the document to an external file.

Syntax:

• <lRetVal> = object.ExportPackage (<sExternal File>)

Parameters:

• sExternal File – Full path name of the external file where the package in the document should be exported into.

Returns

Returns 1 if the operation is successful; otherwise the operation returns zero.

Remarks:

Currently only the UN/EDIFACT standard supports the storage of binary data within the message level.  The binary data stored in this manner is referred to as a Package.

NOTE: The ASC/X12 standard does not support storing binary data in transaction sets, but this feature is not prevented in Framework EDI
