mailDocument. Option

Sets or gets an optional feature of a mailDocument interface.

Syntax:

• object.Option(<option Type>) = <1 or 0>

• <1 or 0> = object.Option(<option Type>)

Parameters:

• Option Type – The type of option to enable or disable.  Set the option to 1 to enable or 0 to disable.  The option type available to enable or disable are listed under the Mail Document Option ID Constants page.

Returns:

Returns 1 if the option is enabled; 0 if the option is disabled.

Example:

Dim oEdiDoc As Fredi.ediDocument
Dim oMailDocument As Fredi.mailDocument

' Create instance of Framework EDI.
Set oEdiDoc = New Fredi.ediDocument

' Get internet mail document object
Set oMailDocument = oEdiDoc.GetMailDocument

oMailDocument.Option(MailDocOpt_Auto) = 0

' Load EDI document normally.
oMailDocument.Load App.Path & "\SampleMail.TXT"

oMailDocument.Save App.Path & "\Output.TXT"
