EDI Document Type Constants indicate the type of EDI document.
ediDocType_Subject (0) - The main or subject document processed and from which an EDI acknowledgment document can be created.
ediDocType_Acknowledgment (1) - The EDI acknowledgment document that is generated when the subject EDI document is processed. The contents of this document can be empty if the option to generate acknowledgments has been disabled.
