DER Encoded X.509 Certificate

A DER encoded X.509 Certificate is the format by which certificates are normally published.  The certificate information such as the subject name, issuer name, serial name, etc. as well as the public key are all packaged using the rules specified by the Distinguished Encoding Rules (DER) X.509 syntax, which is a subset of the Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1).  This certificate does not carry the private key.
