.PRIVATE Section

.PRIVATE section of the SEF file begins the record of information for a particular trading partner.  The name of the trading partner follows the  private section.  Example, for a trading partner called "ABC Company", 

.PRIVATE ABC Company

There can be multiple sections of .PRIVATE to indicate multiple trading partners.  The .PUBLIC keyword ends the PRIVATE sections.  For example, the following entries in the SEF file shows two trading partners each having pertinent information only to themselves and eventually ended using the .PUBLIC keyword.

.DATE 07/01/2004
.CONTACT M.BOND
.PRIVATE DEF Company
