Digital Certificates

Locate a Digital Certificate

To locate a Digital Certificate, take the following steps:

1. Launch eSecurityConsole, and from the main window, click one of the toolbox option:.

   

   Alternatively, to access these using the menu, click the following

   • Certificate Store User Key Set.  The Certificate Store available to the logged on user.
     • Menu: View > Certificate Store > User Key Set
       
   • Certificate Store Machine Key Set.  The Certificate Store available to the local machine..
     • Menu: View > Certificate Store > Machine Key Set

2. A list of certificate store locations is then displayed.  In this example, the list is displayed in the User Key Set mode

   

   Select one of the store location listed, by clicking the node and expanding the item.

3. A list of certificate stores, belonging to the certificate location selected above, is then displayed.  In this example, the LocalMachine node has been selected and expanded.  The list of certificate stores in LocalMachine is thus displayed.

   

   Within each of this certificate store, digital certificates are stored.  Click the node belonging to the certificate store to expand and list the certificates of that store.

4. A list of digital certificates in the certificate store selected above is then displayed.  In this example, the certificate store "My" has been clicked and expanded showing all the digital certificates contained in the "My" store.

   

   Highlight the certificate to select.  In this example, the certificate "Edidev ABC Test Company" has been selected.
