IK3 - Implementation Data Segment Note

Technical Notes

  1. The IK3 data segment is created in the implementation acknowledgment when an error is encountered in a data segment in the subject interchange.  When the implementation acknowledgment is enabled, the Implementation Guideline (999) transaction set is created.  When FREDI encounters and error in the subject document, this IK3 data segment is created in the transaction set and a syntax error code is stored in Implementation Segment Syntax Error Code (620) data element.
