ediSecurityCertificate. GetPublicKey

Returns the encoded string representation of the public key.

Syntax:

<sPublicKey> = object.GetPublicKey(<lEncodingFilter>)

Parameters:

lEncodingFilter – Encoding mechanism to translate the binary contents of the public key to a string. Supported encoding mechanisms are listed under Encoding Mechanism Type Constants.

Remarks:

The public key is the ASN X.509 encoded format as it is stored in the physical certificate. The decoded format of the public key can be retrieved using GetRawPublicKey.
