ediSecurityKeyContainers.AddKeyContainer

Adds a new key container to the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) of the collection.

Syntax:

• Set object = object.AddKeyContainer(<sNewContainerName>)

Parameters:

• sNewContainerName - Name of new container.

Returns:

Returns an object of type FREDI.ediSecurityKeyContainer. If the operation fails, an error is generated and an empty or NULL object is returned.

Remarks:

When the key container is added, the key exchange and signature key pair is automatically created. If the name of the key container already exists it is left alone and no operation is performed.
