ediSecurityKeyContainer

The ediSecurityKeyContainer object represents a key container in the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP).

Methods

• CreateTestCertificate - Creates an X.509 test certificate from the key container.
• DecryptFile - Decrypt a file.
• EncryptFile - Encrypt a file.
• ExportExchangeKeyPair - Exports the Exchange key pair and the Signature key pair in the key container to a file.
• ExportPublicKey - Exports the public key of one of the key pair to a file.
• GenerateSessionKey - Generates a session key from the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) and exports the session key BLOB to a file.
• GetDigitalSignature - Returns the string representation of the digital signature of the file.
• GetPublicKey - Returns the string representation of the public key.
• ImportPublicKey - Imports the public key BLOB from a  file to the key container.
• IsKeyPairExists - Indicates if a key pair type exists in the key container.
• SignFile - Signs a file.
• VerifyFile - Verifies a signed file.

Properties

• Name - Returns the name of the key container.
