Events in FREDI ActiveX/COM

Events are signaled by the top level object ediDocument.  The ActiveX/COM component of Framework EDI calls the event handler in the client and passes to it a list of parameters relevant to the event.  The following events are currently available:

• EventNotify.  Signaled when an error has occurred in the component, or some other notable incident has taken place.
• ProgressStart.  Signaled when the start of a particular process has begun.
• ProgressUpdate.  Signaled when the process has changed the percentage progress.
• ProgressComplete.  Signaled when the process has completed.
• EventNotifyInfo.  Signaled when some incident has taken place and additional information may be required by the client.
• DllNotifyInfo.  Signaled when an external DLL sends its information to clients using FREDI component..
• DirChangeNotify.  Signaled when some change has occurred in a directory (and its subdirectories).
